Setting up a schedule

Go to Manage > Pocket Money and tap a kid’s name. Set an amount, choose weekly or monthly, and pick the day payments land.

For example, Chioma has Zara on $8/week, Felix on $5/week, and Amara on $12/week, all paid on Fridays.

Splitting across accounts

If a kid has multiple accounts (Spending, Savings, Giving), you can split pocket money between them. Set the percentage split on the kid’s pocket money screen. The split can be updated by you or, if you allow it, by the kid themselves.

Releasing payments

On the scheduled day, payments queue up waiting for your approval. Go to Pocket Money > Release to review and confirm each one. You can release all at once or handle each kid separately.

If a payment was missed (for example, you were offline), a catch-up notification will prompt you to release it.

Reversing a payment

A released payment can be reversed from the same screen. This removes the transaction from the kid’s account and returns the balance to its previous state.

Removing a schedule

To cancel ongoing pocket money for a kid, open their pocket money screen and delete the schedule. Existing transactions are not affected.
